Man City CAS appeal verdict LIVE updates

Manchester City discover their European fate today, with the Court of Arbitration for Sport scheduled to deliver their verdict on the club's appeal on the sanctions this morning.  City took their case to CAS last month, and the court will release their verdict at 9.30am UK time. If City are successful in overturning their ban and hefty fine, they will be able to compete in next season's Champions League competition after sealing a top four finish with Saturday's win over Brighton.  If CAS side with UEFA, however, City's two-year ban from the Champions League will stand. The ruling could also see the punishment reduced.
